Here's how it works. When you make your first deposit after registering at 1988rice, the platform will automatically credit a 150% bonus on your deposit amount — up to a maximum of RM 888. For example, a RM 200 deposit earns you an extra RM 300 bonus, bringing your account balance to RM 500 to play with. Deposit RM 592 and you'll receive the full RM 888 bonus, giving you a substantial amount to start with.
What sets the Welcome Bonus apart 1988rice what sets it apart from other platforms is its flexibility. This bonus can be used across all major game categories — video slots, Live Casino (baccarat, roulette, dragon tiger), Sports Betting on the Malaysia Super League and EPL, and e-sports such as Mobile Legends. You're not locked into a single game type, unlike many other platforms that restrict bonuses to specific slots only.
Claiming your bonus is straightforward. Once you've registered, make a deposit using any local Malaysian payment method — Touch 'n Go eWallet, GrabPay, Boost, ShopeePay, DuitNow or FPX via Maybank2u or CIMB Clicks — the bonus will be credited to your account automatically within minutes. No promo code needed, no need to contact customer support. Everything happens seamlessly so you can start playing right away without any hassle.

Receiving a bonus is one thing, but using it wisely is what truly matters. Many new players claim their bonus and start betting impulsively, burning through it in no time without any meaningful wins. Here we share a few approaches that can help you make the most of your 1988rice Welcome Bonus 1988rice more strategically.
First, understand the concept of a wagering requirement. The Welcome Bonus 1988rice comes with a 25x wagering requirement on the bonus amount received. This means if you receive a bonus of RM 300, you'll need to place a total of RM 7,500 in bets before any winnings from the bonus can be withdrawn. That figure may sound large, but keep in mind — you don't need to win RM 7,500. You simply need to wager that amount in total, which can be spread across 7 days by betting consistently.
Second, choose games that contribute 100% toward the wagering requirement. At 1988rice, most video slots contribute in full toward the wagering requirements. This means every RM 1 you wager on slots counts completely. High-RTP slots such as Gates of Olympus, Mahjong Ways 2, and Starlight Princess are great choices for clearing these requirements while still giving you a solid chance to win.
Third, don't try to burn through your bonus in a single session. Spread your play wisely across the 7-day window — play each day in moderate amounts. This approach not only extends your gaming experience but also gives you far more opportunities to win compared to staking everything in one night.
Fourth, take the opportunity to explore new games with your bonus. If you usually stick to slots, try putting a portion of your bonus toward a live baccarat table or give Lightning Roulette a spin at 1988rice. With bonus funds, you can explore freely without taking on too much risk. Who knows — you might discover a new favourite game!
Fifth, keep in mind that this bonus is a starting point — not a guarantee of winnings. Set realistic expectations. Use the bonus to extend your play sessions and enjoy the entertainment offered by 1988rice. Bet at reasonable stake sizes relative to your bonus balance so you maintain enough bankroll to last through the wagering requirement period.
The Welcome Bonus is just the beginning of your journey with 1988rice. Once you complete your first bonus, there are plenty more promotions and rewards waiting for you as a regular member. VIP Programme 1988rice ensures every bet you place continues to earn points redeemable for cashback, rebates, and exclusive rewards.
Active members 1988rice are also eligible for weekly and monthly promotions that are constantly refreshed — including extra deposit bonuses, slots tournaments with cash prizes, lucky draws for special prizes during Malaysian festive seasons such as Hari Raya Aidilfitri and Chinese New Year, and double VIP points on selected public holidays. All of this ensures your experience at 1988rice always fresh and delivering greater value over time.
